A lot of expenses need to be taken care of while adorning your house. Picture framing is one of the means to save money. I was bewildered at the expense that I would have to bear to get several prints framed. These prints, I had found at the arts and crafts fair and had an idea that they would greatly increase the beauty of our living room. The prints were economical, but getting them custom framed was proving to be a very expensive issue. Make sure you do not shop for days for a picture frame, it is not needed.
I paid a visit to the local craft shop that provides picture framing supplies. With the assistance of the clerk I brought the prints, chose mats and frames that complimented them well. After I returned home, it took just a few minutes of work and there I was- custom framing the prints right at my dining table!
Soon I found that the wall needed more. These prints were wildlife sceneries of our most liked state parks. Here is another great photography site http://www.photographyforfun.com. I went through the photos we had clicked on our previous visit and found too that were matching with the prints bought.
I got the photos enlarged at a camera shop. I again visited the craft shop providing picture framing supplies and shopped for matting and frames. Soon form the picture frame supplies I found a double mat that helped highlight the photo colors pretty well. The double mat also went well with one I bought earlier.
The same clerk was at work. She thought that the earlier project of mine was successful and so I had returned for more stuff. I showed her the enlarged photos and told that I was intending to use them along with the prints. She said she was a great idea and complimented me for saving money by doing the picture framing myself.
So I returned home and was again at my dining table engrossed in picture framing. In the end the photos resulted in an amazing decorative piece on the wall. We have now decided to use personal photos and do custom framing as a replacement of other decorative items in our house. Custom framing our own photos has resulted in we creating an great piece of art and that too at a very reasonable cost.
