Kathy Shultz proves to be an author to watch for with this western ghost story that has more than a little romance thrown in. She brings to life the brutal hardships of early America and the sacrifices people had to make in order to survive.
This is a tragic love story where love is blinded by prejudice and blocked by assumptions made too quickly. I learned more about the character of humans and aim to be more understanding and less assuming from now on.
I am sure readers of this book will scan the shelves looking for future work by Kathy Shultz.
