The label for a new premium brand of Polish Vodka, to be sold in its homeland, is being printed in the Midlands, UK.
A company is producing the label for the new Universum Vodka, produced by Polmos Siedlce in Eastern Poland. The complex label is a foil laminate, in nine colours with foil embossing and printed on the reverse side in Polish, allowing information to be read through the 40 per cent Vodka.
Polmos Siedlce is a major producer of vodka but this is the first time that its labels have been produced in the UK. An output of two million bottles a year has been estimated for the new Universum brand alone. The company has also helped in the re-design of the company’s Global and Amator brands and will be looking to print these in addition to the Universum labels.
