Increasingly, the automotive industry is fueling employment. Salespeople and technicians are in the highest demand. There are also needs in management and administrative positions.
"The careers available in today's franchised auto dealerships are intellectually challenging with room for advancement," said Alan Starling, chairman of Automotive Retailing Today (ART). "Pay and demand for these positions are high, and these are careers that can not be sent overseas."
