Quite unbelievable, but the Blink-182 are marking the 12th anniversary of their foundation in 2006. The band can boast eight CD albums’ releases, the1 million USD revenue and making good fathers. It’s exactly the fatherhood, which spawned guys to change their images for the more mature ones. The Blink-182 have given up the childish tricks and have embarked on creating serious music.
The band members treated themselves into new appearances, released the new CD album, dubbed "Enema of the State" and in early summer played a gig at the MTV studio, expecting positive reaction on the new magnum opuses and tunes. According to the band’s front man Tom DeLonge, the results left them satisfied.
Admittedly, the Blink-182 is among few pop-punk bands to play the true music. They stopped falling out with the mass media’s representatives and have won a liable admiration of their fan-base. Presently, the band is engaged in recording new album, giving out concerts every now and then in nightclubs. A bit crucial was a decision to set a ticket price of 1 USD. The guys themselves, however, benefit from it the way they attract larger audience.
We actually should pay them for tolerating our so-called art for such a long period of time, guys joke. Their creations will acquire a new appearance from now on, after a series of reformations. Hopefully, there will be no songs like "What’s My Age Again" and "All The Small Things" any more, but reasonable conclusions on the basis of the previous mistakes.
