As many know Domanick Davis, the running back that currently plays for the Texans, has been out for a month due to a bone injury he suffered on his knee.
The football player who has been the top rusher for the last three seasons was placed for the Houston Texans on the injured reserve leaving him out of this year’s season.
Thinking this is the best option for the team, coach Gary Kubiak made his decision but wasn’t really happy about it, affirming that the RB has done everything he can, and everybody is very disappointed with the situation.
Davis said he is planning to continue with his recovery and he will keep on working on his rehabilitation. The player also expressed that he would love to be part of the season with his team, but he is aware they will continue with or without him.
Davis has 3,195 yards and 23 touchdowns in three NFL seasons. Last season he rushed 976 yards, even missing 6 games before he was submitted to a surgery in December.
Now the Texans are in a difficult position with three rookies as their running backs, being Wali Lundy the starter for the Houston’s opener against Philadelphia.
